There won't be any Hogwarts to get expelled from! He'll flatten it, or turn it into a school for the Dark Arts! Losing points doesn't matter anymore, can't you see? D'you think he'll leave you and your families alone if Gryffindor wins the house cup? If I get caught before I can get to the stone, well, I'll have to go back to the Dursleys and wait for Voldemort to find me there, it's only dying a bit later than I would have, because I'm never going over to the Dark Side! I'm going through that trapdoor tonight and nothing you two say is going to stop me! Voldemort killed my parents, remember?" --Harry Potter
"Harry, don't go picking a row with Malfoy, don't forget, he's a prefect now, he could make life difficult for you..." --Harry Potter
"I am sorry too," said Lupin. "Sorry I will never know him...but he will know why I died and I hope he will understand I was trying to make a world in which he could live a happier life. -- Remus Lupin
"And they'd [the Death Eaters] love to have me," said Harry sarcastically. "We'd be best pals if they didn't keep trying to do me in." --Harry Potter
"I'm not as good as you," said Harry, very embarrassed, as she let him go. --Hermione Granger
"Don't count your owls before they are delivered." --Albus Dumbledore
"No no no!" someone was shouting. "No! Fred! No!" --

Luna Lovegood

Luna Lovegood

Luna Lovegood sig.png"She had straggly, waist-length, dirty blonde hair, very pale eyebrows, and protuberant eyes that gave her a permanently surprised look. Harry knew at once why Neville had chosen to pass this compartment by. The girl gave off an aura of distinct dottiness. Perhaps it was the fact that she had stuck her wand behind her left ear for safekeeping, or that she had chosen to wear a necklace of Butterbeer caps, or that she was reading a magazine upside down."
—Description of Luna Lovegood when Harry Potter first meets her
Luna Scamander (née Lovegood) (born c. 1981) was a witch and daughter of Xenophilius Lovegood and his wife. Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley sig.png"I’m the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie have already left – Bill was Head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they’re really funny. Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it’s no big deal, because they did it first."
—Ronald Weasley talking to Harry Potter the first time they meet each other.
Ronald "Ron" Bilius Weasley (b. 1 March 1980) was a pure-blood wizard, and the sixth son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. He was also the younger brother of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George, and the elder brother of Ginny. Harry Potter: "But why's she got to go to the library?"
Ronald Weasley: "Because that's what Hermione does. When in doubt, go to the library."
— Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley on Hermione.[src]
Hermione Jean Weasley (née Granger; b. 19 September 1979) was the daughter of Muggles Mr. and Mrs Granger, both dentists in Muggle London. At age eleven, Hermione learned that she was a witch and had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She began attending the school on 1 September 1991, she was subsequently sorted into Gryffindor House. She possessed a brilliant academic mind and proved to be a gifted student.
Hermione first met Harry Potter and Ron Weasley aboard the Hogwarts Express. Both boys found Hermione unfriendly and something of a know-it-all. Later her eagerness to please her professors and her constantly correct answers reinforced their initial impression. However, in spite of the cool relationship between the three, Hermione stepped in to take the blame from Ron and Harry after they had saved her from a troll on Hellowe'en. Harry and Ron were surprised but grateful, and the three quickly became friends.

Harry James Potter (b.31 July 1980) was a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of James Potter and Lilly Potter (née Evans), and one of the most famous wizards of modern times. In an attempt to circumvent a prophecy that a boy born at the end of July 1980 would be able to defeat him, Voldemort tried to murder him when he was a toddler after murdering Harry's parents as they tried to protect him. This early attempt to vanquish Harry led to Voldemort's first defeat and the end of the First Wirzarding War. One consequence of Lily's protection is that her orphaned son had to be raised by her only remaining blood relative, with her Muggle sister Petunia's family, where he was not welcomed or nurtured, but would stay alive, at least until he was seventeen years old. As the only known survivor of the Killing Curse up to that point, Harry was already famous before he arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
